Bonjour Paris - Frans in France

The Frans made it to France. We spent 10 luxurious days in the city of lights and love. From Croque Madame to Escargot, we created memories that will last a life time and experienced all that Paris had to offer. I'm so excited to share our adventures filled with food, wine, fashion, culture and a whole lot of fun.

After a red-eye flight we checked into our Airbnb. I highly recommend using Airbnb when traveling abroad. I felt as though we integrated ourselves into the community and got a deeper insight into life in Paris.

Blurry eyed due to lack of sleep we loaded up on espresso and set out to explore Paris. On our first day we wandered down the Seine taking in historic sites like the Notre Dame, Louvre, Tuileries and of course the Eiffle Tower. Paris always romances me and I'm so excited to share all its' beauty with you.

Summer Whites

Happy Summer people! It has been awhile since I did my last post. Life got busy, no other excuses, I think we can all relate to that. This summer has been one for the record books here in the city. Lots of sun and very little rain.

Just to keep everyone in the loop, I am preparing this week for a getaway to Paris...mon amour! The Frans and I are heading to France for a vacation filled with food, fashion, wine and the making of incredible memories. With less than one week to go until departure, the packing preparation has begun.

This is my white on white summer look that I think screams Parisian Glam. I'm reading the book "How to be Parisian Wherever You Are: Love, Style & Bad Habits" in preparation for the trip. I've been attempting to glean tidbits of knowledge to infuse into my everyday life. My favorite quote from the book follows:

Parisian women never try to appear to be something other than what they are. In truth, more than wanting to look young - which is but a fleeting illusion - they want above all to become the best possible version of themselves, outside and in, at any age.

I also made a new little furry friend. World meet Baxter. This precious pup was a ham for the camera, I think we got along so well due to the matching hues of our hair.

Black & White Summer

Summer is officially here. Don't get me wrong, I love the colorful hues of a summer wardrobe but it is hard to take the neutrals out of a New York girl. The easiest way to transition Winter wardrobe pieces into a Summer wardrobe is to add pops of colorful accessories.

I'm loving my new accessories from Juicy Couture. Under new ownership, Juicy is rebranding themselves as a more high end brand with fashion forward pieces for woman of every age. Pairing old with new, I'm loving this Summer day or evening look.

I wore this look for brunch in Chelsea at Cookshop with my sweet friend Kait from Madly Mignon.
